i see reality from my little world :
obstacles of the mind

Anticipation, freedom and desire to engage with the world. Inside each glass bar is a message in braille extracted directly from the artist’s journals during her time studying at the University; detailing her observations, hopes and anxiety that came with the desire to leave the nest. The glass bars are both fragile and solid, transparent representing how the limits we have placed on ourselves in our minds (limits we often overlook, or do not bother to read into, exist in front of us and inside us) are just as strong and solid as any physical barrier can be and they are the barriers that really hold us down.
